Pep Guardiola was
born on 18 January 1979 in Santpedor. When he was 13 years old, he left
Santpedor and he joined La Masia in Barcelona. After 6 years in La Masia, he
played his first match in Barcelona team. Between 1991–1992 he became a first
team regular.
On 24 June 2001, he
played his last match with Barça, and he played 479 games for the club. Between
1995-2005 he played seven friendly games
for the national team of Catalonia. After 2 years Guardiola appointed coach of
Barcelona B, and a year later he become manager of FC Barcelona A.
In June 2012, he
left FC Barcelona and took a sabbatical year in New York. Next year he signed a
contract with the German club “Bayern Munich”. Since then, he has been the
manager of Bayern Munich, and he life in Germany.
